Definitions:

Word		Meaning

Provider	First Class Shopping and Partners and Subsidiaries and Authorised Representatives
Consumer	Purchaser, Buyer, Authorised Representative
General Price	The normal, standard or everyday price.

Section 1 - About

1) The Discount Conditions are prepared to provide a clear and concise set of terms and conditions about how and when discounts are applicable on the providers products and services.  

1.1)  The Discount Conditions form part of the overall ‘Conditions of Sale’ agreement between the provider and the consumer.  These Discount Conditions must be read as a part of the ‘Conditions of Sale’ agreement.

1.2) These Discount Conditions may change from time to time.  It is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure that they are viewing the most up to date version of these Discount Conditions.  The correct and most up to date version of these Discount Conditions are available at www.firstclassshopping.com.au/discountconditions.aspx or by contacting the provider directly.

Section 2 - Member Discounts

2)  The provider at their option provides member’s of The First Class Shopping Club with a discount on the products and services provided by the provider.  Member discounts are not set at a fixed rate, but vary between every product and service.  The applicable discount amount is the difference between the general price and the member price, both of which are shown to the consumer at the time of the transaction.

2.1) Any customer may become a member by registering as a member.  Member registration can be completed by any customer by providing the necessary information as required by the provider for the purposes of membership.

2.2) Members may obtain a discount only when they advise the provider that they are a member.  In the case that a member does not advise the provider that they are a member, the member discount is not applicable and the general price shall be the applicable price.  Where a purchase has been made or a service has been carried out at the request of a member and the member has not advised the provider that they are a member, for the purposes of that purchase or service, the member shall be treated as having not been a member.

2.3) Members may obtain a discount by using the provider’s online services and through this service declaring they are a member by logging in as a member.  Where a member does not log in then for the purpose of that transaction they are not a member.  If a member does not log in to their member account, then the provider has not been advised that the consumer is a member.

2.4) Where false or misleading information is purposefully provided by a consumer when registering for membership, then membership is considered to be invalid and all and any member discount applied to purchases or services is void and the difference between any member discount and the general price becomes payable by the consumer to the provider.


Section 3 - Bulk Discounts

3)  The provider at their option provides bulk discounts to all customer’s when they meet the conditions set by the provider of a bulk purchase.  A bulk discount is not available on every product or service.  Where a bulk discount is applicable the provider will clearly state that the bulk discount is available.

3.1)  The amount of a bulk discount varies between every product and service.  The applicable discount amount of a bulk discount is the difference between the general price of the product or service and the bulk discount price.
